Biwi No. 1 is a Bollywood comedy film directed by David Dhawan, starring Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor,Anil Kapoor, Sushmita Sen and Tabu in lead roles. It is inspired by the 1999 Tamil film Pudhea Paadhai, which also dealt with the theme of infidelity and complicated relationships. David Dhawan adapted the story for Bollywood, giving it his own comic touch.

The film follows the story of Prem (Salman Khan), a married man who, despite having a loving wife Seema (Karisma Kapoor), falls for another woman, Rachel (Sushmita Sen). As Prem tries to balance his life between his
wife and his mistress, the complications increase. Seema, unaware of the affair at first, eventually finds out, and with the help of her friend, she devises a plan to teach her unfaithful husband a lesson. The film explores themes of love, infidelity, and the complexities of relationships, all set in a humorous and light-hearted tone. फिल्म का संगीत अनु मलिक ने दिया था, जो काफी सुपरहिट हुआ था। गाने जैसे "पंजाबी तड़का" और "बीवी नंबर 1" पार्टी एंथम बन गए और "चुनरी चुनरी", "हाय हाय मिर्ची" जैसे गानों की धुनें बजाये और गुनगनाये जाते हैं।
