Hey TDF Fans! and ICW Fans! Wow Stage 12 was insane with the Pogi attack up the Hautacam asserting dominance over the Yellow jersey. Stage 13 is a Mountain time trial, something which hasn't been in the Tour de France since 2004. It's short and steep at 10.9km and 650m of climbing from Loudenvielle to Peyragudes. The final ramp is an absolute wall that rises straight up. Riders will go off one at a time in the race against the clock. 🔍 Route Overview**
The **first mountain time trial in over a decade**, and one of the shortest — but steepest — challenges of this year’s Tour.
* First 3 km: Rolling and fast
* Final 8 km: Steady climb averaging 8%
* Final ramp: Brutal finish with slopes hitting **14–16%** in the last 400 meters
No aero bike changes allowed — pure legs and pacing.
⚔️ Key Tactical Points**
* **No margin for error** — GC riders must pace to perfection
* **Time gaps will open** — this climb rewards pure climbers
* Final TT section can **decide podium places** before the Pyrenees
* Riders must balance speed vs. power on technical gradients
