Description

At the end of the 19th century, a former Napoleonic officer, Jacques Eymard, is mistaken for a brigand by villagers. Wounded in an ambush and killing in self-defense, he hides in local caves, fearing for his life. Rescued by the dedicated Dr. Thierry, he eventually marries the doctor’s daughter, Martine.
